ILIANA MERCADO

 Iliana is a freelance cartoonist and illustrator based in New York City. In May 2022, she pursued her BFA in Cartooning at the School of Visual Arts.

She is a mixed-medium artist and has a focus in digital + traditional sequential art, gouache painting, bookmaking and editorial zine design. 

 

Her work consists of a collection of character designs, personal comics, and vivid designing. Iliana is inspired by early 2000's Y2K graphical designs and heavy brushwork and incorporates that in her work.
